I was born in South Africa and educated in Canada, France, Japan, Botswana, and the U.S.. My diverse background has informed much of my artistic and professional pursuits.

With a foundation in finance (risk analysis) from the University of Southern California (USC); and training in photography and film from the ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, California, I began a journey in 2003 which allowed me to explore and to grow my creative talents in tandem with helping identify solutions for sustainable development for Mathangwane, Botswana, Africa.

Did I balance innovative problem-solving with artistic expression? The latter is possible present time: 2025. So no, it was not a successful balance back what began  almost twenty years ago (2003 – 2019).  But a body of photographic work  was created to be explored at a later time.

Then and now, I am thankful for having had the opportunity to be Creative and Executive co-founder of THINK TANK THUTO.   Because of this role I had the opportunity to document the landscapes and a number of communities in Southern Africa  (Botswana, Zambia, South Africa); and the Western Horn of Africa (Kenya and Tanzania).

In the northern area of Botswana, especially, I discovered a deep connection that came from my maternal grandfather’s stories of a time when he learned the language of the San People (Bushmen) in the early 1900s.

Forever Grateful and a tremendous Thank-You, Kealeboga, Dankie: M.C., H and Anglican Bishop Trevor Mwamba (Think Tank Thuto Co-Founder)
